Job Summary

As a Public Health Analyst, you will look at health information from the community and try to find out how we can improve health for everyone. Responsibilities

Here are some of the things you will do as a Public Health Analyst:

• Collect and Analyze Data: You will gather health data and look at trends to see if there are health problems that need fixing, like high rates of disease or areas with no healthcare.
• Research Health Issues: You will read reports, talk to people, and learn about health problems in the community. Then, you’ll use this information to make decisions.
• Write Reports: You will write reports to explain the data you find, what it means, and how we can improve public health.
• Work with Others: You will work with other health professionals and community leaders to make health programs and improve services.
• Monitor Health Programs: After health programs are started, you will keep track of how well they are working and make suggestions to improve them.
• Present Your Findings: You will present your reports to the team and other people involved in public health. You’ll explain the results and make recommendations to help solve health problems.
• Help Find Funding: Sometimes, you will help write grants (requests for money) to pay for new health programs and services.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

To qualify for this job, you need the following:
