Job Summary
As a Rescue Coordinator II, your job is to plan and manage rescue operations for Public Health Services in Harris County, Houston, Texas. Responsibilities
Here are some of the things you’ll do as a Rescue Coordinator II:
1. Plan and Organize Rescues
- Work with emergency responders to make a rescue plan.
- Decide which actions need to happen first and where to focus.
- Make sure everyone on the team understands their jobs.
2. Communicate and Work Together
- Keep in touch with other teams, so everyone is up to date.
- Share information quickly with the rescue team.
- Work closely with emergency workers to stay organized and ready.
3. Keep Records and Write Reports
- Write down what happens during each rescue operation.
- Keep detailed records to see what went well and what could improve.
- Share what was learned from each operation to help for future emergencies.
4. Be Ready for Emergencies
- Practice rescue drills and be prepared for different types of emergencies.
- Make sure everyone on the team is trained and knows what to do.
- Learn about new ways to help people faster and better.
5. Manage Resources
- Keep track of rescue equipment to make sure it’s always ready.
- Know what resources are needed and suggest new ones if necessary.
- Help with budgeting for rescue supplies and equipment.

Education and Experience
