About the Role
As a Healthcare Housekeeper, your main job is to clean and sanitize hospital rooms, clinics, hallways, and bathrooms. Responsibilities
Keep Healthcare Areas Clean
- Clean patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Wipe down furniture, equipment, and surfaces
- Mop floors and vacuum carpets
Prevent the Spread of Germs
- Use approved disinfectants and sanitizing tools
- Follow cleaning procedures designed for hospitals and clinics
- Dispose of trash and medical waste properly
Restock and Report
- Refill soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers
- Check cleaning supply levels and request more as needed
- Report any safety concerns or areas needing special attention
Work as a Team
- Assist nurses and staff with room turnover after patient discharge
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests during the day
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers
Qualifications
What You Need
- Attention to Detail: Spot messes and clean thoroughly
- Time Management: Clean spaces efficiently
- Physical Strength: Ability to walk, stand, and bend for long hours
- Basic Communication: Follow verbal and written directions
