What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)

As a cashier at Murphy USA, you will be the friendly face that helps our customers every day. Your job will be to:

• Greet customers with a smile and help them feel welcome
• Help customers buy gas and items from the store
• Use the cash register to take payments
• Restock shelves with drinks, snacks, and other products
• Keep the store clean and organized
• Make sure each customer leaves happy

You will work as part of a team that supports each other and helps the store run smoothly. You’ll talk to lots of different people and help them get what they need quickly and kindly.

Job Requirements

This is an entry-level job, which means you do not need to have worked before to apply.

Here’s what you do need:

• You must be at least 18 years old (in some states the age is 19, 20, or 21)
• You must be ready to work with people and be friendly and responsible
• You should be able to stand for long periods of time and do light lifting
• You need to be able to follow instructions and work safely

If you’ve worked as a cashier, sales associate, or in any store job before, that’s great! But again—no experience is needed.
