Public Health Services is an organization that works to improve the health of everyone in our community. We help people stay healthy by finding out what makes them sick, giving information on how to stay healthy, and helping the government make better decisions about health.
We work with doctors, nurses, and people from the government to make sure everyone gets the care they need. Our job is to make the world healthier, one person at a time.
As a Biostatistician, your job is to help us look at health data, like numbers about diseases, hospitals, and vaccines. You’ll figure out what the numbers mean and help other people use that information to make health programs better.
You will work with other team members to analyze the data, find out what it tells us, and explain it in a simple way that everyone can understand. This job is important because it helps improve health programs that save lives and help people stay safe.
