Job Summary:
As the Healthcare Operations Manager, you will make sure everything at our healthcare facility runs smoothly. This means making sure the doctors, nurses, and other staff are working together to take care of patients. You will help plan, organize, and make sure we are following all rules and regulations. Your job will be to lead a team and find ways to improve our services so people get the best care.
You will also help with things like budgets and making sure we have enough resources. If you enjoy organizing and helping people, this job is a great fit!
Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Operations Manager, your main jobs will include:
1. Managing Healthcare Operations:
- Make sure the healthcare facility works smoothly every day.
- Follow the rules that help keep our patients safe and healthy.
- Help create rules and guidelines to make our care even better.
2. Leading a Team:
- Lead and manage the doctors, nurses, and other staff members.
- Help train and support your team to do their best work.
- Create a friendly and positive work environment so everyone can do their job well.
3. Managing Budgets and Finances:
- Help manage the money we spend on healthcare services.
- Work with the finance team to make sure we use money wisely and save where we can.
4. Improving Patient Care:
- Find ways to make patients feel comfortable and happy with the care they receive.
- Listen to feedback from patients and staff to improve our services.
5. Reporting and Keeping Track:
- Write reports to show how things are going with our healthcare services.
- Make sure we are following all rules and regulations.
- Stay updated on new ways to improve healthcare.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- You must be a strong leader who can help guide a team.
- Great communication skills to talk clearly with staff and patients.
- Know how healthcare systems and rules work.
- Ability to solve problems and make good decisions.
- Be good at organizing and making sure things get done.
- Comfortable managing money and budgets.
- Be able to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Be friendly and good at building relationships with others.
Preferred Skills:
- If you have experience working in healthcare or managing a team, that’s great!
- Knowing how to use computer programs for managing healthcare is a plus.
- If you have a background in public health or working in community services, that’s helpful too.
- If you have any healthcare management certifications (like CHFM or CAHIMS), it would be a bonus!
Education and Experience:
- You need to have a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or something similar.
- You should have at least 5 years of experience working in healthcare, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working with a team and managing budgets is important.
- If you’ve worked in public health or community healthcare before, that’s a big plus!

This job is located in Harris County, Houston, Texas. Houston is a big city with lots of things to do, and you will be working in a place that helps improve people’s health every day.
